Kyrgyzstan exported 8 tons of 717.4 kilograms of gold from January to the end of August of this year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Kyrgyzstan sold the gold to three countries for 545.2 million dollars:
Switzerland: 7 tons, 151.3 kilograms.
China, Hong Kong: 983.3 kilograms.
UAE: 582.7 kilograms.
By the corresponding period of 2022, the country sold 65.4 kilograms of gold to foreign countries, and according to the results of last year, it amounted to 290.5 kilograms.
According to Kyrgyzstan’s National Statistics Committee, gold was not exported in the first two months of this year, and sales began in March.
