Kyrgyzstan’s average monthly salary grows by 25.7%

Kyrgyzstan’s average monthly salary for employees in January–August 2023 rose to 32,078 soms, according to “AKIpress” News Agency.

The monthly salary of company employees increased by 25.7% compared to the same period last year.

From January to August 2023, an increase in the growth rate of average monthly wages compared to the same period last year was observed in enterprises and organizations of all types of economic activity.

The most significant increase was observed in the areas of public administration and compulsory social security (64.7%), administrative activities (42.8%), water supply, cleaning, waste treatment, and recycling (33.5%), real estate transactions (32.4%), arts, entertainment, and leisure 31.9%, wholesale and retail trade, repair of cars and motorcycles (27.9%), information and communication technology (27.7%), hotel and restaurant activities (24.9%), financial brokerage, and insurance (23.4%), transportation and storage of goods activities, (22.6%), supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and air conditioning, (22.6%), construction, (21.7%), and professional, scientific, and technical activities, (20.9%).
