Kyrgyzstan’s GDP will grow by 4.5% in 2024, according to Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) data.
“Kyrgyzstan’s economy is estimated to return to a balanced growth path this year. From 2023, GDP is expected to grow by 4.6%,” according to EDB analysts.
“Next year, the basic scenario predicts an economic growth of 4.5%; high investment activity will support the economy,” EDB analysts added.
At the same time, the persistence of strict monetary conditions in the first half of the year and the consolidation of the planned budget contribute to calming domestic demand. This, in turn, will have a deterrent effect on GDP growth.
In the medium term, Kyrgyzstan’s economy will develop on a balanced growth path.
