Kyrgyzstan exports increased by 49.6% in 2023, according to the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic data.
“From January to September, foreign trade increased by 26.2% (to $10.8 billion). Exports rose 49.6% ($1.4 billion) in the first nine months of this year compared with the previous year,” according to the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Imports rose 21.6% due to cars and equipment from China, Japan, Korea, Germany, and the United States.
“At the end of the year, because of the dominance of exports over imports, we believe that the trade deficit will continue to decline,” Kyrgyzstan’s National Statistical Commission said.
