Kyrgyzstan’s jewelry output grew sevenfold between January and November 2023, according to the republic’s National Statistical Committee data.
“In 11 months, jewelry worth 127.5 million soms was manufactured. Production output was 18.7 million soms from January to November 2022,” Kyrgyzstan’s National Statistical Committee data shwoed.
In November 2023, the manufacturing of jewelry surged 9.9 times to 19.6 million soms.
Earlier, Kyrgyzstan’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) topped 1 trillion soms ($11.2 billion), according to Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Kyrgyzstan’s GDP surpassed 1 trillion 72.6 billion soms, with the republic’s budget topping 6 billion 404 million dollars,” Japarov said during a ceremony in which certificates of honor and gratitude were awarded on behalf of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
