The volume of direct investments in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union increased by 64.3% in the first quarter of the year, according to the EEC electronic information services.
“Mutual investments last year were valued at $1 billion; in the 1st quarter of this year, it was $1 billion (265 million),” according to the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Earlier, the EEC said that the amount of construction work in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union increased by 9.2% in the period from January to July 2023, compared with the same period last year.
The increase was recorded in all member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, according to the website of the Organizational Support and Protocol Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
In particular, it was observed in Armenia (43.9%), Kyrgyzstan (26.7%), Kazakhstan (12.2%), Belarus (11.7%), and Russia (8.7%). The volume of housing utilization across the Eurasian Union increased by 0.3%.
