Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, stated that countries around the world that aim to build and operate their own artificial intelligence infrastructure will lead to an increase in demand for his company’s products.
In an interview with Bloomberg on Thursday, Huang explained that countries including India, Japan, France, and Canada are emphasizing the importance of investing in “sovereign AI capabilities.”
He added, “They should improve their natural resources and production in their own countries.
Recognizing sovereign AI capabilities is a global issue.” Huang, who co-founded chip design company NVIDIA, has been advocating for countries and their companies to retain valuable data and intelligence that can be extracted locally.
Such a national approach to the AI revolution may result in the expansion of data centers, which may require NVIDIA’s expertise and devices. (Bloomberg)
