The 53rd edition of the “Middle East Watches and Jewelry Exhibition” will kick off in Sharjah on January 31st. The exhibition, which is held twice a year, is organized by Expo Sharjah Center with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
It is one of the most prominent specialized events in the United Arab Emirates and the region, included in the list of exhibitions.
More than 500 exhibitors from major local and international companies specialized in gold, jewelry, and numerous brand names are participating in the event.
In its new edition, which continues until February 4th, the exhibition witnesses an international presence of exhibitors representing reputable companies and stores in the world of watches and jewelry, coming from the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, and other companies.
The event covers an area of 30,000 square meters and includes pavilions for several countries known for their expertise in watchmaking and designing of expensive jewelry. It attracts around 70,000 visitors annually, including 1,800 commercial visitors. It offers visitors the opportunity to discover the finest exclusive designs of gold, diamonds, fashionable jewelry, precious stones, pearls, and luxury watches.
Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Sharjah Expo Center, stated that with each new edition, the Middle East Watches and Jewelry Exhibition achieves an economic boost to this sector.
Major brands are keen to participate to enhance their presence and position among customers in our region, recognizing the importance of the exhibition as an ideal platform to stimulate gold trade, boost investments in the sector, facilitate communication between companies and investors worldwide.
The exhibition also serves as a vibrant activity that provides opportunities for business deals, showcases the latest designs, attracts more investments, and solidifies the UAE’s status as a global hub for gold and jewelry trade.
It contributes to the development of the gold and jewelry trade and provides insights into the market size in the UAE and the region. Additionally, it creates new job opportunities in the sector.
Saif Mohammed Al Mifdhal, the CEO of Expo Sharjah, pointed out that the Middle East Watches and Jewelry Exhibition is attracting significant interest from companies and brands due to the event’s role in providing broader opportunities to market their latest designs and launch exclusive and innovative products, reaching an audience interested in acquiring unique jewelry designs.
He added that the exhibition sees the participation of new countries in each edition, which reflects the efforts of Expo Sharjah in making the event successful and establishing its leading global reputation among major gold and jewelry manufacturers.
