The Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperative relations.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Qatar Chamber First Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari and Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Uzbekistan Chamber.
Before the signing ceremony, both officials met to explore ways to strengthen collaboration between both chambers as well as between the Qatari private sector and its Uzbek equivalent.
They emphasized the need for developing investment and commercial relations, noting both nations’ good business climates and prospects.
They also looked at the possibility of increasing cooperation and partnerships between Qatari and Uzbek businesspeople.
Speaking during the conference, Mohamed bin Twar emphasized Qatari investors’ eagerness to learn about prospects in Uzbekistan and to invest in it, noting that Uzbekistan is a recognized investment location.
Chairman of the Uzbekistan Chamber, Davron Vakhabov, complimented the collaboration between the two chambers, stating that the Uzbekistan Chamber is eager to strengthen cooperative connections with the Qatar Chamber in order to increase commerce between the two countries.
