Qatar seeks investments in Tajikistan

The Chairman of the Qatari Businessmen Association (QBA), Sheikh Faisal Bin Jassim Al-Thani, expressed his readiness to cooperate in the implementation of priority and promising projects in Tajikistan.

This came after the meeting of Tajikistan’s minister of economic development and trade, Zavkizoda Zavki, with the chairman of the Qatari Businessmen Association and chairman of the board of directors of Alfaisal Holding, Sheikh Faisal Bin Jassim Al-Thani.

The parties discussed the high level of relations between the two countries during the negotiations.

Sheikh Faisal Bin Jassem Al-Thani also expressed his desire to invest in the development of such areas.

1. construction of the area of the international passenger and cargo airport in the Dangara district.

2. Gold mining sector in Tajikista (TALCO Gold).

3. Passenger routes between Dushanbe and Doha.

4. construction of the Shurob hydroelectric power plant.

5. competitiveness of the Somon Air Company.
