Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a joint statement with President Sadyr Japarov following bilateral discussions that Russia is Kyrgyzstan’s principal supplier of oil goods.
Putin emphasized that energy remained one of the most important sectors of bilateral cooperation.
“We totally satisfy Kyrgyz consumers’ gasoline demands. We exported over 1.2 million tons of gasoline last year. The same volume will be delivered by the end of the year,” Putin said.
“Gasoline is supplied on preferential conditions, free of export customs charges, which has a direct economic impact on the republic,” Putin added.
