The Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, has emphasized that seizing the initiative is a fundamental pillar for leadership in generative artificial intelligence.
He said:
“We in the Kingdom are proud of the Crown Prince’s leadership and his optimism about the future of generative artificial intelligence.”
This occurred during his Excellency’s participation in a panel discussion held on Tuesday, as part of the agenda of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, under the theme “Artificial Intelligence: The Great Equalizer.”
He commended the qualitative progress in innovation made by the Saudi company “NanoPalm,” which uses generative artificial intelligence to develop a biological robot contributing to the treatment of anemia.
He underscored the Kingdom’s determination to make a significant leap in innovation, emphasizing the importance of uniting collective efforts to adopt innovative models based on sustainable solutions.
Additionally, he highlighted the benefits of leveraging the latest innovations utilizing artificial intelligence and its technologies.
