The Tribecca Shipping Agency announced that navigation in the Bosphorus Strait in Turkey is scheduled to resume for north-bound ships starting at 17:00 Greenwich Mean Time today, Sunday, after it was suspended due to a malfunction in the anchor of one of the ships.
According to a report published by the agency, the anchor of the carrier Beria, flying the Liberian flag, was released on its own due to bad weather conditions near the Sultan Selim I Bridge area during its crossing through the strait, and rescue boats were sent to help.
The report also mentioned that the tugs will accompany the ship until the port area of Mersa Kocuk Shikmagha.
