Official reports revealed that the volume of buses manufactured by Uzbekistan since the beginning of this year 2023 has reached 383.
According to statistics, this volume of production is 20.7% less compared to the same period of the previous year 2022.
On the other hand, the production of specialized passenger cars saw an increase of 19.4 percent. In addition, 105,600 car engines were produced during the first half of the year, reflecting a 9.2 percent decrease from the same period in 2022.
Uzbekistan currently owns 69,600 manufacturing enterprises, of which 11,500 (16.4 percent of the total) are in Tashkent, 7,900 (11.4 percent) in Ferghana, 7,100 (10.2 percent) in the Tashkent region, 6,200 (9 percent) in Samarkand, and 5,500. (7.9 percent) in the Andijan region.
