South Korean engineering and consulting company, GONHWA, has won the contract to execute designs for expanding and improving water and sewage treatment plants in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The South Korean Ministry of Environment announced on Monday that “Gunhwa” company has been selected as the designer for a project to expand and improve water and sewage supplies in Saudi Arabia. The contract is worth 101.6 billion won, equivalent to 75.94 million dollars.
The ministry stated that this deal is expected to increase the likelihood of South Korean companies winning major projects for building water treatment and sewage plants in Saudi Arabia, which are estimated to be worth 6 trillion won, according to Yonhap News Agency.
