Total assets under the management of China’s IPO funds reached 27.69 trillion yuan (about $3.88 trillion) by the end of June, official data revealed on Sunday.
“By the end of June, there were a total of 10,980 IPO funds operated by 144 fund management companies,” the China Asset Management Association said.
China’s closed-box volume was 3.75 trillion yuan, and open-box size was about 23.9 trillion yuan.
There are 144 fund management companies, including 48 foreign-financed companies and 96 local companies.
