The UAE’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, led a high-level UAE team to the Kyrgyz Republic on a visit to explore prospects to strengthen bilateral cooperation in all sectors.
Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov greeted Al Mazrouei and his entourage in the presence of Mohammed Al Arqi, UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan, and the Non-Resident Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan.
The UAE Minister opened the conference by expressing the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of the Presidential Court, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s wishes for the leadership of the Kyrgyz Republic and their friendly people for further growth and success
In particular, renewable energy, transportation, and logistical services were considered during the meeting as ways to improve cross-sector cooperation.
Al Mazrouei also met with Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Kyrgyz Republic’s Cabinet of Ministers, to discuss the recent advances in bilateral relations and the outcomes of the UAE delegation’s talks during the visit, and to emphasize the necessity of putting in place a system to simplify the process of expanding commercial and investment partnerships.

The relevance of the UAE’s interest in strengthening connections in the sphere of energy and renewable energy was confirmed, as was Masdar Company’s interest in investing in renewable energy projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
