UAE’s Exhibition for industry and advanced technology saw over 3,000 Emirati youth being interviewed for 500 job opportunities at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre.
Youth from all over the UAE were offered immediate interviews for immediate employment, as well as direct employment and training opportunities in over 73 companies and organizations in the industrial and advanced technology sectors in the UAE.
UAE’s Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology organized the exhibition in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the UAE Talent Competitiveness Council, the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, and the ADNOC Group.
The exhibition showcased opportunities for Emarati talent in sectors including defence, agricultural technology, food and beverage, electric and hybrid vehicles, the service sector, oil and gas, packaging, advanced industries, construction, real estate, conformity and standardization, and others.
“The exhibition comes in line with the Ministry’s strategic objectives in developing the industrial sector, enhancing its competitiveness and enhancing its contribution to economic diversification and sustainable economic development, within the framework of the National In-Country Value Program and the ‘Make it in the Emirates’ initiative,” Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, said.
“Thanks to the joint cooperation with our strategic partners, the “Industrialist” program will contribute to providing 500 job opportunities as a first stage, which contributes to increasing the pace of employment in the private sector, in which the number of citizens enrolled has reached more than 81 thousand citizens, including approximately 31 thousand citizens since The beginning of this year,” Ghanem Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the UAE Talent Competitiveness Council, said.
